The portions are great, but the quality if very low. First, sauce might be good, but they put so little on the sandwich and want to charge you 75¢ more for a very small dressing cup worth. The pork tasted as if it was cooked in an oven not smoked or grilled (if it was I couldn't tell). Onion rings over cooked (dark brown) and greasy. The girl out front was very nice and seemed organized, the kitchen (owner I assume) was not - very slow service and we we're only 4 tables before us. Bathrooms were totally gross, not paper towels - hopefully the employees used it? Flies everywhere - dirty windows... and way off the beaten path - not really sure who goes here except the neighborhood its in.
Food is very good. I had the rib dinner with potato salad and baked beans. Ribs were nicely smoked but I still prefer mustard based BBQ sauce. Service was friendly and there is an older gentleman selling jewelry, purses, etc. Will go back again.

Items aren't expensive and are well worth the cost. Every time I go to Selma, I have to stop!
I liked everything about this local joint except for the BBQ sauce. I am a mustard based sauce kind of girl. However, it was still good. I had the rib dinner with potato salad and baked beans. The meat was grilled and slow cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. I even bought earrings fm an elderly gentleman who was selling stuff in there. This just tells you how friendly the people were. The place was busy with call-ins and walk ups. Check it out. I think you'll like it.
I absolutely love Lannie's! It has been around for as long as I can remember and the food is as good as it was 25 years ago.
